Trekking: Wine pahts

The network of trails of San Vicente and its surroundings, also known as The Wine Trails, runs through vineyards, ‘guardaviñas’ or ‘chozos’ (stone huts used for shelter), ‘lagares’ dug into the rock (deposits where the grapes are placed for stepping and fermentation), necropolises and hermitage caves. Even the so-called ‘Trail of the Shrine of Toloño’ allows to reach the summit of this mountain, located more than 1,200 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Rioja Alta.

There are different trails for different tastes, on a theme basis: ‘through desserted villages’; ‘through the summits’, ‘through the immensity of the river’, ‘through vineyards’, ‘the legacy of Rivas de Tereso’...

You can also find lovely countryside walks and signposted urban itineraries that will allow you to discover our heritage at your own pace.
